The Ohio Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (OHCEAC) is pleased to offer a new technical support service for greenhouse- and vertical-farm growers in Ohio. These services are provided free of charge to help growers improve fertilizer and water-use efficiency while optimizing crop performance.
Whether you are developing a new fertilizer program, troubleshooting nutrient issues, or redesigning stock tank recipes, we can help you better understand and manage your nutrient solutions.

Our Services Include:
- Assistance selecting fertilizers and developing fertilizer mixing protocols
- Designing stock solution recipes based on target nutrient concentrations
- Reviewing and adjusting existing stock solution formulas using laboratory nutrient analysis results
- Helping growers better understand the elemental composition of their current fertilizer programs
- Providing technical guidance for nutrient management in hydroponic and soilless crop production systems

Important Notes
- Laboratory nutrient or tissue analysis services are not included as part of this program.
- However, we can recommend analytical laboratories if you need testing services.
- Recommendations are provided based on available information, research knowledge, and practical experience. Some crop-specific situations may require additional consultation or testing.
- We also offer custom training for those who wish to learn greenhouse fertilizer and nutrient management. Please contact us for more information.
