Biography:
Dr. Yu Ma is the Director of the Ornamental Plant Germplasm Center and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticulture and Crop Science at the Ohio State University. Prior to joining OSU, Dr. Ma was an Assistant Research Professor at Washington State University. She obtained her M.S. degree (2012) from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Ph.D. degree (2016) from the Washington State University.
Dr. Ma has responsibility for research, teaching and extension. Her research focuses on genetics, genomics and breeding of ornamental crops.
