Biography:
Dr. Heping Zhu is a Research Agricultural Engineer and Lead Scientist at USDA/ARS Application Technology Research Unit, and also an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE), The Ohio State University. He has many years of academic research experience in development of innovative methodologies and mechanisms including intelligent spray technologies to protect crops and preserve the environment. His current research program focuses on discovering conceptual and developmental bases for coordinated macro and micro precision application methodologies and strategies to enhance efficiencies and efficacies of pesticides, biological pest control agents, and bio-regulating compounds.
